Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you use Torro IQ, we may collect the following types of information:

• Store information provided via Shopify APIs (e.g., products, orders, revenue, customer metadata)
• Advertising and analytics data from platforms you connect (e.g., spend, impressions, performance metrics)
• Account information such as email address and store identifiers
• Usage data related to how you interact with the Service

We do not knowingly collect personal information from consumers shopping on your store.

2. Meta Platform Data

When you connect a Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising account, you authorize Torro IQ to read data from the Meta Marketing API using the ads_read and business_management permissions. Our access is read-only: we never create, edit, pause, or delete campaigns, and we never post on your behalf.

The Meta Platform Data we retrieve and store is limited to advertising performance data:

• Ad account, campaign, ad set, and ad identifiers and names
• Daily spend, impressions, clicks, and inline link clicks per ad
• The date range each metric covers, and the access token issued to you by Meta so scheduled refreshes can run

We use this data for one purpose: to join your Meta ad spend to your Shopify revenue at the product level and show you which products are profitable to advertise. We do not use Meta Platform Data for advertising or retargeting, we do not sell it, we do not transfer it to data brokers, and we do not combine it with data from other Torro IQ customers.

We do not request or receive Meta user profile information, friend lists, messages, or the personal information of anyone who saw or clicked your ads. Meta insights reach us in aggregate form at the ad level and contain no end-user personal data.

Our use of Meta Platform Data complies with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies. You can revoke our access at any time — from Settings inside the app, or from Meta's Business Integrations settings — and either route stops all further collection immediately. See "Data Deletion" below for how the data we already hold is erased.

3. How We Use Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service
• Generate analytics, correlations, and insights
• Maintain security and prevent fraud
• Communicate with you about the Service
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data.

We may share data only:

• With service providers who help operate the Service (under confidentiality obligations)
• To comply with legal requirements or enforce our terms
• With your explicit consent

5. Data Storage & Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the Service or comply with legal obligations. Data may be deleted upon app uninstallation or request, subject to technical limitations.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access your data
• Request correction or deletion
• Withdraw consent
• Request information about data usage

8. Data Deletion

You can delete the data Torro IQ holds about you at any time, in any of these ways:

• In the app. Open Settings → Meta and choose Disconnect. This deletes the access token Meta issued us along with every ad account, campaign, ad set, ad, and daily spend record imported through it.
• From Meta. Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations on Facebook, select Torro IQ, and remove it. That revokes our token so no further data can be collected. To also erase what we already stored, disconnect in the app or email us using either method below.
• By uninstalling. Removing the app from your Shopify admin deletes that store's imported orders, products, and import history. Meta data is tied to your Torro IQ account rather than to a single store, so disconnect Meta or email us to remove it as well.
• By email. Write to help@torroiq.com and we will delete your account and all associated data.

Deletions are completed within 30 days. We may retain the minimum records required by law (for example, billing records), and backups are purged on their normal rotation.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party platforms such as Shopify and advertising providers. Their use of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.

10. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
